Congratulations to our seven athletes who completed in the College Sport Wellington Track and Field Championships yesterday.

Kuranui success at College Sport Wellington Secondary Schools Road Champs

Kuranui was represented by Anthony Rowe-Penny and Amelia O’Connell at a recent College Sport Wellington Secondary Schools Road Champs held at Trentham Memorial Park in Upper Hutt.

Anthony was placed 11th in the Senior Boys 6km event and Amelia was placed 13th in the Intermediate Gilrs 3km Event.

The O’Connell siblings dominated the Kuranui College annual swimming sports, held on a scorching hot day at Greytown Pool. An impressive total of six records were broken, including one which has stood since before any of the school’s current students and some of teachers were born.

First practice of the year for our Kuranui Cricketers is on Wednesday 7th February @ Kuranui College. It’s for all new and existing players including girls.

 Meet by the gym at 3.30pm.

If you want to play you must attend. Wairarapa Cricket will take the practice session.
