Kuranui College's multi-award winning Dance department offers Junior ignite courses, where students learn about a variety of dance genres and styles, as well as exploring  movement and choreographic techniques to create their own pieces.

Senior students further develop their performance skills and ability to express their own ideas through choreography with assessment through University approved achievement standards.

Throughout the year students are given opportunities to be involved in extra-curricular dance events such as: Guest tutor workshops, professional performances, Showquest and DanceNZmade.
